Sara: Wedding nightmares, cute edition

Last night, I had a really bizarre wedding dream, in which Dennis and I were participating in a mass wedding (think Rev. Moon) with a Hello Kitty theme. The officiant was Hello Kitty, and everyone was wearing Hello Kitty products and carrying Hello Kitty bouquets (instead of flowers, there were little Hello Kitty heads on springy wires) and the whole thing was intensely disturbing.

I have no idea what any of this means.

Rae over at Here Comes the Blog is making a wedding Pinata and isn't that just the coolest thing ever?

Sara: Best boyfriend ever

Mood slowly improving. Dennis is being wonderful. I was feeling really stressed and overwhelmed yesterday and he invited me over for a quiet evening of comfort food and bad TV (yes, we watched American Idol, but I'm not proud of that fact) , which did me a lot of good. His place has the best bathtub - it's really big and deep and there's a ledge to hold candles and a beverage. Glorious. I had a very nice bubblebath while he made dinner, and then got into my moose PJs and lounged on the couch. It was exactly what I needed.

Sara: Is this normal?

I'm having a very strong urge to chuck this whole wedding production and just get married by a midget Mexican wrestler in Vegas. Should this be expected to pass, or should I see about getting Dennis fitted for brightly colored spandex tights?

Sara: That bridal glow...coming from a light bulb

Desire to elope slowly receding.

Desire to buy scary Bride Doll Lamp non-existant. Although I probably would have killed for it at age 7.

"This bride holds a parasol that is a decorative element during the day and a lampshade in the evening."

My cousin's baby arrived today! Welcome to Earth, Riley! What do you think so far?

[even less related]
Very cool craft project at Crafty Chica -- mosaic coasters. I think these would be an excellent project for the celebration when Leigh returns from Colorado next month. Also, don't miss the Not Martha Halloween Page.
